Seattle Seahawks: Pass Rush

Over the summer, the Seahawks traded Frank Clark and replaced him by signing Ziggy Ansah. That’s bound to lead to a considerable drop-off in productivity from the Seattle pass rush.

The hope is that 1st-round pick L.J. Collier can help to fill Clark’s shoes, but relying on a rookie isn’t always a safe bet. They are also hoping that Jarran Reed can replicate his 10.5 sacks from last year’s breakout campaign. The Seahawks, of course, are accustomed to winning with defense, but if they can’t replace Clark’s impact and their pass rush suffers, the Seattle defense won’t be so intimidating anymore.
