While options are somewhat limited, McNair is undoubtedly the best quarterback the Titans have had during their time in Tennessee. But it’s hard to find a receiver with whom McNair connected. The team’s success with McNair was usually more about the combination of McNair and running back Eddie George.

However, there was a five-year period from 2000 to 2004 when Mason and McNair made for quite the tandem. McNair’s highest passing totals came in 2001 and 2002 with Mason going for over 1,000 yards receiving in both seasons, ultimately emerging after a sluggish start to his career. Also, Mason’s only two Pro Bowl appearances came in 2000 and 2003 when McNair was the one delivering the ball.
