Minnesota Vikings: Warren Moon, Cris Carter
They say that all Carter did during his NFL career was catch touchdowns. That’s not entirely true, but he caught a lot of them, doing so from a variety of quarterbacks. It’s a little hard to pinpoint what former Minnesota quarterback had the best chemistry with Carter, but it could be Moon.
While he spent just three seasons with the Vikings, Moon tied a career-high with 33 touchdown passes during the 1995 season. Carter was on the receiving end of 17 of those 33, leading the NFL in touchdowns that year. Carter also had a league-high 122 catches that year, clearly showing that he was Moon’s preferred target as he led the league in completions for the third time in his career.
