Kansas City Chiefs: Len Dawson, Otis Taylor

Throughout the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, the Chiefs were the class of the NFL. During that time, Dawson was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in football, leading the AFL in completion percentage in six straight seasons. Along for the journey during that time was Taylor.

While also known for his blocking skills, the 6’3’’ Taylor had some of the best hands the game has ever seen. He played a crucial role in Dawson having such a high completion percentage. The two had complementary skills and were a formidable quarterback and receiver tandem in an era that was lacking in that department.
