Green Bay Packers: Brett Favre, Sterling Sharpe
For a quarterback like Favre, it’s hard to pick just one receiver because he had a good rapport with so many. But Sharpe might be the one that stands out the most. It’s odd that Sharpe was forced into early retirement right before Favre’s string of three straight MVP awards. However, these two were an incredible tandem.
Sharpe only played seven seasons in the NFL, but he led the league in receptions in three of those yards, largely because Favre was always looking for him. He also led the league in yards once and touchdowns twice, and that wouldn’t have happened if not for incredible chemistry with Favre.
