Brandon Rush (Kansas)
Usually, it’s hard to say that a guy who won an NBA Championship is having a disappointing NBA career. However, when you find out that guy played just seven minutes, and scored one basket in the entire playoff run — it’s easy to see Brandon Rush has been a bust in the NBA. During his three years at Kansas (2005-2008) Rush averaged more than 13 ppg in every season, and was a deadly three-point assassin. In 2008, his junior year, Rush lead the Jayhawks to a national title over Derrick Rose and the Memphis Tigers…
In the eight NBA seasons since he was selected with the 13th-overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Rush has averaged a meager 7.2 ppg. Although he was able to add another championship to his resume, this time around, Rush was more of a cheerleader than a player.
