6 of the 9 Running Backs Who Had 1,000 Yards Rushing in 2017 Fail To Do So in 2018
Before the 2018 season started, if you told a football fan that guys like Matt Breida, Carlos Hyde, and Marshawn Lynch would all be on pace to run for more than 1,100 yards this year, most people would’ve thought you’re nuts. But through five games this year, that’s the case.
Outside of guys like Todd Gurley, Ezekiel Elliott, and Melvin Gordon, the thousand yard rushing club for 2018 could look very different than it did in 2017. Specifically, it’s very unlikely that guys like Le’Veon Bell, LeSean McCoy, Mark Ingram, Leonard Fournette, C.J. Anderson, and possibly Jordan Howard fail to hit that mark this year.
