Kirk Cousins leads the NFL in passing yards
The Minnesota Vikings’ $84 million man, Kirk Cousins started out the first four games of the 2018 season by averaging 338 yards passing per game, which was the third-highest total in the NFL. That number could very well go up as he gets even more comfortable in Minnesota’s offense, considering he has one of the best duo’s of wide receivers in the NFL, the Vikings have one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL.
Also working in Cousins’ favor, Minnesota’s defense is suddenly surrendering a ton of points, meaning Cousins could get into a bunch of shootouts this season. Cousins could surpass fellow NFC North rivals like Aaron Rodgers and Matt Stafford – along with every other quarterback – in passing yards this year. Cousins still has two games against Khalil Mack and the stingy Bears defense, but the rest of the Vikings remaining opponents shouldn’t present much of a roadblock.
