Finally coming into the season with a (mostly) clean bill of health in 2018, tight end Jordan Reed of the Washington Redskins has gotten off to something of a slow start to the season. However, expect to see that production trend upwards as the season progresses, as he further develops rapport with quarterback Alex Smith. Reed has looked like the spry and athletic version of himself who had 952 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns in 2016.

Through the early part of the season, Reed is 2nd on the Redskins in receptions, receiving yards, and targets. Reed posted a stinker in a juicy Week 5 matchup against the Saints, but look for him to bounce back as he gets more in sync with quarterback Alex Smith.
