18. Isaac Bruce
Kurt Warner is the player most associated with the “Greatest Show on Turf” teams the Rams had between 1999 and 2001. But those teams would not have received such acclaim without Bruce. He was the receiver who was catching a lot of Warner’s passes and then running wild in the opposing team’s secondary. That period and the fact that Bruce played 16 mostly remarkable seasons in the NFL leave little doubt that he’s one of the all-time greats.
Oddly enough, Bruce’s second season in the league may have been his best. With Chris Miller as his quarterback, Bruce caught 119 passes for over 1,700 yards and 13 touchdowns, all career highs. In fact, those 119 catches were the most by a player under 25. Bruce would go on to have seven more seasons with 1,000-plus yards receiving, including the “Greatest Show on Turf” years. He ultimately finished with over 15,000 yards receiving, becoming just the second player at the time to cross that threshold.
