22. Andre Reed
Reed is another example of an overlooked receiver who became one of the all-time greats. Hailing Division II Kutztown University, Reed became an instrumental part of the Buffalo Bills teams that played in four consecutive Super Bowls, although they ended up losing all four games despite Reed having some superb efforts. During that era, Reed also caught three touchdown passes in Buffalo’s historic comeback over the Houston Oilers in a playoff game.
Thanks to the Bills reaching four Super Bowls, Reed trails only Jerry Rice in career Super Bowl receptions. He was also one of the most durable receivers the NFL has ever seen, rarely missing a game outside of the 1995 season. Unfortunately for Reed, he had to wait his turn to get into the Hall of Fame, as several other Hall-of-Fame caliber receivers created a logjam in Canton. However, Reed finally got there in 2014 and was more than deserving of the honor.
