9. Terrell Owens
If he was facing your favorite team, there was no one in the late 90s and early 2000s who was easier to hate than Owens. His touchdown celebrations and other antics both on and off the field were infuriating for fans of opposing teams. But if you could forget about all of that for a minute, you’d see a player who’s body was a temple and a player who was utterly dominant during his prime.
Owens spent his 15-year career playing for five different teams, often wearing out his welcome with his over-the-top personality. But it was almost always worth it for what he contributed on the field. He had nine seasons with at least 1,000 yards receiving and eight seasons with at least 10 touchdowns. If it’s a crime to shout from the rooftops letting everyone know how good you are, Owens is guilty, but he’s not a liar because as an NFL wide receiver, he was nothing short of exceptional.
