Before she was saving lives on Grey’s Anatomy, Katherine Heigl was modeling kid’s clothes. She kept modeling as she grew older and even appeared on the cover of Seventeen magazine. Before breaking into movies, she earned $75 an hour for posing for Sears and Lord & Taylor.
Heigl actually got her first film role in 1992 in the film That Night. Early in her career she such films as Bride of Chucky, The Tempest, and was even in a Steven Segal movie called Under Siege 2. Her role on Roswell made her famous, but it was Grey’s Anatomy that made her a star.
