Los Angeles Clippers
The colors are cool, but the logos are what really stand out here. Huge fan of the all white and all blue uni’s. Now that “lob city” is officially broken up, Clippers fans might need something to excite them, a jersey change might help. Come on Balmer, make it happen!
Milwaukee Bucks
Brian: “Here’s some new NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @bucks. Some minor tweaks were made to the current designs, but had to bring back one of my favorite Bucks throwback uni’s and added a new cream uni to the mix. Let’s get @nike & @nikebasketball‘s attention and tag them! 😜😜” … Regardless of what uniforming he’s wearing, The Greek Freak looks like he’s ready to dominant the NBA for at least the next decade.
San Antonio Spurs
Brian: “Uniform Design Concepts for the @spurs. With the addition of the new logo, this is how I see a modernized Spurs uniform. Along with an alternate “Fiesta” colorway and a couple throwbacks, with one reinvented.” … Spurs fans can probably use one hand to count the number of times they’ve seen Kawhi Leonard and Gregg Popovich smile on a basketball court — so it’s pretty hard to imagine the Spurs wearing a jersey known as the “Fiesta” design.
Minnesota Timberwolves
They’re cool, but nothing we’re absolutely crazy about. If we had to choose, the black alternate on the far left is our favorite of the bunch. Fun Fact: The Minnesota Timberwolves have not been to the playoffs since 2004… If you’re not great at math, don’t worry, we’ll help you out. That’s 13 straight seasons!
New Orleans Pelicans
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @pelicansnba. Black, white & old gold for NoLa! I’ve always loved these colors together. (And no it’s not a bite off of Toronto’s OVO look) Mardi Gras uni is simple and upgraded. The NOLA Pride (red, white & blue) inspired by the New Orleans flag and an addition of a black band w gold fleur de lis, to keep the families affected by Hurricane Katrina always in our prayers.” For the record, the white uniform and the black uniform are our favorites. The gold is pretty cool too.
New York Knicks
Nothing drastically different here, but a good mix of old school and new school. The all blue on the left is a classic Knicks look, and the all black has a nice punch to it. I wonder what stylist Knicks legend (and current broadcaster) Clyde Frazier thinks about these redesigned uniforms…
Oklahoma City Thunder
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for @okcthunder. On top of designing these uniforms, I also went a step further and designed a new badge/logo for OKC. The new logo can be seen on the shorts. Also, I wanted to push the boundaries of creating a design that paid homage to the old Supersonics uniforms. Some will like and some will hate, but that’s OK!! 🤙 ” … All jokes aside, Brian should have reached out to Russell Westbrook. As someone who is completely obsessed with fashion, I’m sure he would have loved to contribute.
Orlando Magic
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @orlandomagic. I designed a whole new logo and wordmark inspired by the history or the Magic. Also included is my favorite Magic throwback uni and all black alternate pride uni.”… The Magic have very cool colors. That’s always a good starting point when designing a uniform. The throwback uni is great — reminds me of the days when a young athletic big man named Shaquille O’Neal was breaking backboards for fun.
Philadelphia 76ers
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @sixers. Making subtle changes to the current uniforms (nod to the 70’s) I added a version of AI’s rookie uniform and a black & white split body concept w a red, white & blue waistband.” The current jerseys are awesome, the Iverson styled uniform on the right is great, and the black and white combo on the left is fantastic! The 76ers uniforms are some of the best in Brian’s entire collection.
Washington Wizards
Love em all. The red, white, and blue stripes up the side of the shorts and jerseys are very patriotic. Also a big fan of the uni’s with the blue shorts and black shorts. John Wall, Bradley Beal, and company would look great in any of these uniforms.
Phoenix Suns
Brian: “Some uniform design love for the @suns. These uniforms are soaked in Suns history!” Former Suns star and current TNT analyst Charles Barkley would probably look best in the all black uniform. After all, you know what they say, everyone looks skinnier in black.
Portland Trail Blazers
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @trailblazers. Again, with a team like the Blazers, I only made subtle changes to these uniforms.” We’re happy he made few adjustments here. The Blazers have some of the coolest jerseys in the league.
Sacramento Kings
Brian: “NBA Nike Uniform Design Concepts for the @sacramentokings. Being that the Kings recently went through a uni upgrade and rebrand, I only made a few minor tweaks to the current design. Also, that baby blue throwback is one of my all time favorites! The cool purple grey uni combines the same font used in the new logo, but arched to give a nod to the Rochester Royals.”
Utah Jazz
Like the city of Utah, these jerseys were very underrated in fan voting. Not a huge fan of the uniform on the left – the color isn’t exactly flattering. How would Stockton and Malone look in these new designs?
