Richard Gere

Gere grew up in Syracuse, NY and is a direct descendant of Mayflower pilgrims. If you think Gere is flexible on the silver screen then you should have seen him in college, where he attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst on a gymnastics scholarship.

Eventually Gere found himself on stage and in front of the camera. He’s starred in such films as An Officer and a Gentleman, American Gigolo, and Pretty Woman, which gave Gere a new level of fame.
