Matt Leblanc

Despite being best known for playing the Queens native Joey Tribbiani on the hit sitcom Friends, Matt Leblanc actually was born and raised just outside Boston. Like his character, Leblanc moved to New York City at a young age to pursue a career in modeling.

Leblanc landed minor roles in commercials and television shows like Married…. With Children. Then everything changed. He landed the role of Joey on Friends and Leblanc became a global superstar, picking up three Emmy Award nominations and eventually his own short-lived Friends spinoff, Joey.
