Clint Eastwood is, without a doubt, Hollywood’s squintiest actor of all-time. But Eastwood is more than just the star of countless Western’s, a cultural icon of masculinity, and a renowned director. He’s also the former mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where he used to live.
While in office, Eastwood made it legal to eat ice cream on the street and added public restrooms to the beach. While he may be more well known for his roles in Unforgiven, The Bridges of Madison County, and Million Dollar Baby, it’s clear we can all agree his role as a small-town mayor was unforgettable.
