The San Francisco 49ers selected Woods in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft to replace the jettisoned Terrell Owens. But between simply not being ready to play as a pro, and constantly battling injuries, Woods caught a grand total of seven passes over his first two NFL seasons. Even before the start of his 3rd year in the NFL, the 49ers traded him away, and he never played an NFL game after that.
