Declaring for the NFL Draft after his redshirt sophomore season at North Carolina State University, wide receiver Koren Robinson intrigued NFL scouts because of his size (6’1 and 205lbs) and the fact that he was dripping athletic playmaking gifts. That led the Seattle Seahawks to select him with the 9th overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft.

And while Robinson did have a breakout season in his second year in the NFL (going for 1,240 yards), that was effectively the lone highlight of his career. After two underperforming seasons subsequent to said breakout, Seattle let Robinson walk in free agency, and less than four years later, he was out of the NFL.
