Poor Tyrod Taylor. That guy has never gotten his due. Despite displaying his competence as an NFL quarterback nearly everywhere he’s played he’s never given the respect he deserves. Lately, he’s been the placeholder for the next guy. Buffalo, Cleveland, and now Los Angeles.

But this time is different. Tyrod Taylor is going to lock down the starting job and play well enough to keep first-round pick Justin Herbert on the bench. Why? He’s reunited with Anthony Lynn who was his offensive coordinator in Buffalo when he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2017.
