29. Fixer Upper

Relax, Fixer Upper fans. This show isn’t as fake as most of the other reality shows in this list, but it may be surprising to learn that some participants have been asked to repeat something they said to get a better take. More importantly though, it’s a relief to know the homeowners really do get a gorgeous newly renovated home.

However, it turns out that if you can’t afford to purchase the lovely furnishings we see in the finished homes, those items will go straight into a moving truck when the cameras stop rolling.
