6. Volkswagen Tiguan
Like many other Volkswagen vehicles, the Tiguan is known for good visibility and interior comfort. The Tiguan was actually one of the most popular Volkswagen vehicles sold in 2018. The 2019 Tiguan was one of the larger SUVs in the “compact” class. It offered more interior space and better handling than some of its competitors.
However, the 2020 Tiguan doesn’t fare better than the Atlas in Consumer Reports’ analysis based on data that shows the Tiguan’s reliability has dropped significantly from year to year. The vehicle also has poor fuel efficiency, to say the least, and the acceleration is said to be “laughable”. The horsepower output isn’t the best and the towing capacity doesn’t allow you to pull heavy loads.
