Potential For Honorable Mention: 2021 Brooklyn Nets
It remains to be seen how the current edition of the Brooklyn Nets turns out, but at the moment they are shaping up to be quite the crew of villains. The team is headlined by league super-villains Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden, so they’re off to a pretty good start.
Harden, who used to be well respected around the league, will be learning the ways of the dark side from Irving and Durant, after a bitter divorce in Houston. If the team proves to be a real title challenger then their super villain status will be cemented.
