Robert Galley won everything a lineman could his senior season at Iowa. He was the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year, a unanimous All-American, and won the Outland Trophy. Labeled as “the best lineman to come out of college in years”, the Oakland Raiders snapped him up with the 2nd overall pick.
Gallery struggled from the start. He never gave up less than 3 sacks per season and in his final season in Oakland gave up a whopping 10.5 sacks. After spending his final two seasons in Seattle and New England, Gallery retired. These days Gallery lives on a ranch in Northern California and spends his time restoring cars and raising his family.
