Playing football at Penn State, Andrew Quarless got the words “God’s” and “Gift” tattooed on right and left arm, which was clearly a genius idea after he was suspended and demoted while in Happy Valley. NFL personnel men weren’t too thrilled with him referring to himself as a divine present to football either, especially when he was picked up by the police for driving under the influence, involved in a narcotics bust, and asked to attend rehab, all while still in college. Eventually, Quarless had an “S” added to the word “Gift,” explaining to the media that “The way I approached it, God’s gifts were my blessings.” None of God’s gifts to Quarless included the ability to grab hold of the Packers starting tight end position, for which they’re still searching for an answer.
