Junior Seau was more than just a great linebacker for the San Diego Chargers. For a long time, he was the heart and soul of the team. Not just their leader on the field, but their emotional leader. Seau was named to the Pro Bowl an in credible 12 times and was named to the NFL’s 100th Anniversary and 1990’s All-Decade teams.

Seau earned the nickname the “Tasmanian Devil” due to his wild antics, but he backed it up with his play on the field. In the 1994 AFC Championship Game he recorded 16 tackles against the Steelers while playing with a pinched nerve in his neck. The man was a warrior.
