Bill Wennington was a seven-foot journeyman for the first nine years his professional basketball career; he was actually out of the NBA after the 1991 season, and playing overseas for Virtus Bologna in Italy.

But Wennington had the good fortune of signing with the Chicago Bulls in 1993, and got to be a member of perhaps the greatest basketball team of all time (the 1995-1996 Bulls). He ended his career with three championship rings, thanks to one Michael Jordan.
