You could fill entire epics with the feats of Michael Jeffrey Jordan, during his 13-plus year career with the Chicago Bulls. But, the best way to sum it all up is the six NBA Championship wins he achieved, and the designation he’s received as the greatest professional basketball player of all time. Retiring for good from the NBA after a two-year comeback attempt with the Washington Wizards from 2001 to 2003, Jordan spent time promoting his famous “Air Jordan” brand of Nike apparel, before purchasing a minority stake in the (then) Charlotte Bobcats franchise.

In 2010, majority owner Robert Johnson sold the team over to Jordan, making Jordan the first former NBA player to become majority owner of a franchise.
