Few people realize that Chris Harris Jr. actually played alongside cornerback Aqib Talib at the University of Kansas; even fewer people would’ve realized back then that the two would eventually become Pro Bowl teammates. 54 cornerbacks were taken ahead of Harris in the 2011 NFL Draft, and some NFL scouts thought Harris would be best served as a safety. But when Jack Del Rio became defensive coordinator of the Broncos in 2012, he moved Harris – who started four games plus a playoff game as a rookie the year before – into the starting lineup, and the rest is history. Harris has emerged as one of the best slot cornerbacks in the entire NFL, and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2016.
