Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics

Could a kid like Jayson Tatum, who won’t even turn 21 years old until days before the start of the 2018-2019 NBA season, beat a certified “grown man” like LeBron James? With Tatum’s all-around offensive skillset and ready-beyond-his-years look this season, we certainly think it’s possible. When Tatum became the focal point of the Boston offense during the 2018 NBA playoffs, he shined in the role, averaging 18.5 points per game while shooting 47% from the field. Plus, he’s clearly not afraid of James, as we saw in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, when he threw down a dunk on the king himself.
