Fitzpatrick never won a Super Bowl or made a Pro Bowl, but he came out of Harvard and endured years of being a backup until finally becoming a bonafide NFL starter. He threw for 3,000 or more yards in three straight seasons as Buffalo’s starter from 2010 to 2012, finally finding sustained success more than five years after coming into the league as an unheralded backup from the Ivy League.

Currently, the man they call Fitzmagic is still slinging it, supplanting former top overall pick Jameis Winston as Tampa Bay’s starter during the 2018 season.
