BONUS: LeBron James
LeBron James has always been fond of the Los Angeles area, leading many to speculate he might eventually sign with one of LA’s NBA teams (even though it’s increasingly likely that’ll never happen). But, the fact that he bought a 9,000-square-foot “mega mansion” in the ultra-affluent Los Angeles suburb of Brentwood only increases such speculation. The custom-built mansion, constructed in 2011, has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and just smacks of “luxury living.” There are fireplaces in the living room and dining room, a family room that spills into the outdoors that feature panoramic sunset views over the mountains, a backyard with a lap-lane swimming pool and open air cabana, and a master bedroom with another two-way fireplace alongside a private sitting room, marble bathroom, and private terrace. That home set James back “only” $21 million.
