After tearing his ACL in back-to-back seasons in 2001 and 2002, Jason White not only emerged as the starter for the University of Oklahoma, but he went on to basically sweep every major award available after throwing 40 touchdown passes and only eight interceptions in 2003, including the Heisman Trophy.

But after leaving Oklahoma after the 2004 NFL season, White wasn’t drafted by a single NFL team, and though the Tennessee Titans did sign him to a two-year deal as an undrafted free agent, White retired because of continued issues with those surgically reconstructed knees.
