5. Mike Williams (Buy)
If your league looks anything like mine, you might’ve seen an antsy fantasy football GM dump Mike Williams onto your league’s waiver wire, after he had a slow couple of weeks of production. If that’s the case, put in a waiver claim for Williams ASAP.
Williams rebounded nicely with a four-catch, 72-yard performance against the New York Jets on Sunday, and caught his second touchdown in four weeks. His big play and red zone capabilities make him worth the weekly look.
5. Todd Gurley (Sell)
After once being the “consensus best running back in the NFL,” it’s very apparent that Todd Gurley’s best days are behind him, and the current Atlanta Falcons’ running back is only a shell of his former self.
For the third-straight week, Gurley has run for less than 55 yards, and registered less than 5 yards of receiving in a single game. The dual-threat dynamo seems to have all his abilities sapped away by his injury history.
4. J.K. Dobbins (Buy)
With incumbent running back Mark Ingram being sidelined for the Baltimore Ravens, many people were excited to see what rookie J.K. Dobbins could do with an increased workload, especially considering he entered Week 8 averaging 6.2 yards per carry.
Dobbins led the Ravens with 15 carries for 70 yards in Baltimore’s loss against Tennessee, and recorded a rushing touchdown. But more importantly, it’s painfully obvious that he’s the best running back in the Ravens’ group.
4. Zach Ertz (Sell)
Zach Ertz has consistently ranked outside of the top 12 tight ends in the NFL in fantasy football (in most PPR formats). That’s a pretty alarming fact, considering he was supposed to be a consensus top 5 tight end entering this season.
Ertz has had an absolute miserable month of October, following an uninspired month of September. In his first three games this month, he had 33 or less yards receiving in every one of them. Now, he’s expected to miss the next several weeks due to an injury. It might be time to abandon ship on the otherwise decorated tight end.
