9. Corey Davis (Buy)
The more you watch wide receiver A.J. Brown of the Tennessee Titans, the more and more it becomes hard for you not to see glimpses of a young Terrell Owens. He has that type of talent.
Given that, teams are starting to focus on stopping him, leaving lots of opportunities for Corey Davis to succeed. Over the past four weeks, Davis is averaging more than six targets per game. Against Baltimore this past Sunday, Davis had a team-high 113 yards receiving.
9. Drew Lock (Sell)
From the perspective of football fan, Drew Lock is a lot of fun to watch. The strong-armed young gunslinger shows a fearlessness when he’s on the field, and can make big plays happen frequently.
But Lock won’t win any fans among his coaching staff if he continues to throw the ball to the other team, even if the Broncos do win the game (as they did against Miami). In his last five games, Lock has thrown 11 interceptions.
8. Tim Patrick (Buy)
We fully realize that large chunk of Tim Patrick’s season-high 119 yards came on a 61-yard play that was effectively “garbage time” yardage (and fantasy points).
Still, with Drew Lock back under center, Patrick has 23 targets over his last three games. He’s become a viable option to fill in at your flex spot, especially since Denver seems to be going into pass-happy mode given that they’ve been trailing in most games as of late.
8. Devin Singletary (Sell)
It used to be that another week brought in another near 50/50 split in touches between presumed starting running back Devin Singletary and his rookie colleague Zack Moss. Over the last couple of weeks, Singletary could only wish he was seeing a 50/50 timeshare.
In Buffalo’s heartbreaking loss against the Arizona Cardinals, Singletary once again had fewer carries than both Moss and quarterback Josh Allen. Over his last two games, he’s run for a total of 16 yards. That’s atrocious.
