11. Curtis Samuel (Buy)
If, for some reason, wide receiver Curtis Samuel of the Carolina Panthers is available on your league’s waiver wire, stop reading this right now and go grab him for your roster.
Carolina’s offense won’t be lighting the league on fire anytime soon (especially with backup quarterback P.J. Walker assuming the mantle of starter), but Samuel has been a steady presence for the Panthers for much of the year. He had his third touchdown in four weeks against Detroit on Sunday.
11. Jared Goff (Sell)
Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams represents a quandary that so many NFL teams often find themselves in: good enough to not be a problem, but not good enough to win a championship. Unsurprisingly, he’s very similar in a fantasy football capacity.
Goff is one of those guys that could pop off for a monster game when you least suspect it; although, Goff hasn’t really had a “monster” game since mid-October. And when you need him to come through with a big game, he’ll have a complete stinkbomb.
10. Nelson Agholor (Buy)
Another week brings another batch of proof that the change of scenery was terribly needed for former Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver Nelson Agholor.
The current Las Vegas Raiders’ receiver caught his third touchdown in five weeks in the Raiders’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, while catching a team high 88 yards (on a team-high 9 targets), thereby showing quarterback Derek Carr’s faith in him.
10. TY Hilton (Sell)
Between frustrating drops and constant injury concerns, TY Hilton has been far more “sizzle than substance” in recent years. He’s missed time due to injury in each of the past three seasons, and his usually gaudy yards per catch has steadily decreased since 2017.
He continues to suffer a ridiculous drop in almost every game he’s played this year, and given that the Chris Ballard regime wasn’t the one that drafted Hilton, there’s a very good chance Hilton is playing for another team next year.
