Ronda Rousey – Buffalo Jeans
In 2014, Rousey signed an endorsement deal with clothing brand Buffalo David Bitton. Although the financial terms were not made public, it’s safe to assume the clothing company paid Rousey a pretty penny to get her in their jeans. As one of the highest-paid women in sports, Buffalo are just one of many sponsors who pay the fighter to represent their brand. Other big Rousey sponsors include Reebok, Metro PCS, and Monster headphones. According to Forbes, Rousey banked $3.5 million in endorsements from June 2014 to June 2015.
These seductive pictures were part of a photo shoot in downtown Manhattan. In a behind the scenes video, Rousey revealed her goal for the photo shoot — “to be feminine and sexy.” Not exactly two things she strives for on a daily basis. But then again, $3.5 million in endorsement deals is pretty good motivation!
Don’t let her innocent look fool you! Those who see Rousey as less of a threat as a fighter, because of her time spent modeling, are making a BIG mistake. Rousey seems to handle photo shoots as easily as she handles her opponents in the octagon. Rousey has won her last four fights in a combined total of 2 minutes and 10 seconds! For those who are not familiar with the UFC rules, each round can last up to 5 minutes. Meaning Rousey has beaten her last four opponents in less than half of 1 full round!
Here are the details from those fights.
