Le’Veon Bell gets listed as an honorable mention because he didn’t exactly “demand” a trade. Rather, after playing on the franchise tag in 2017, and nearly being tagged with the exclusive rights tender in 2018, Bell famously sat out the entirety of the 2018 season, daring the Steelers to either play without him or trade him.

The Steelers chose the former, and let him walk for no return during the subsequent offseason, when Bell would sign a four-year, $52 million contract with the New York Jets.
