Brett Favre might’ve broken his streak, but Bruce Matthews should probably be considered the NFL’s true “Iron Man.” Calling Matthews “an offensive lineman” was like saying Da Vinci was “kind of crafty.”

The Hall of Fame lineman played every position on the offensive line at some point in his career, starting in 99 games as a left guard, 87 as a center, 67 as a right guard, 22 as a right tackle, 17 as a left tackle.
While his team might’ve moved from Houston to Tennessee, Matthews played his entire career with the Houston (and later Tennessee) Oilers, with a career that spanned just under two decades.
