Greg Robinson is a classic example of what happens when teams reach on an offensive tackle prospect based on their physical tools, instead of their actual on-field play.

Considered a total “can’t-miss” prospect coming out of Auburn University, the 2nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft not only played terribly during his time with the St. Louis Rams, but showed up to camp overweight in his critical third season in the league. A year later, he was traded to the Detroit Lions, and after dealing with injury issues there, he was waived several months later. He’s currently looking for work after two disappointing seasons in Cleveland.
