Matt Leinart (USC)
How’s this for a collegiate resume: 108 touchdowns in just 3 seasons, a record of 37-2 as a starter, a Heisman Trophy, and just about every other major award a college quarterback can possibly win. Based on his individual performance, and team success, Matt Leinart is arguably one of the best college quarterbacks of all-time. Which is why the Arizona Cardinals selected him with the #10 pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, Leinart wasn’t able to replicate his success at the pro level, and after six disappointing NFL seasons, he was out of the league just after his 30th birthday.
Nowadays, the former Heisman winner works as a studio analyst for FOX Sports, a job he has held since 2014. Leinart works alongside former Vikings running back Robert Smith, and former Bears and Dolphins head coach Dave Wannstedt. On December 5th, Leinart was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
