In the weeks and months leading up to the 2012 NFL Draft, almost all of the talk around the quarterback prospects in that class were focused on Andrew Luck from Stanford University and Robert Griffin III from Baylor University, with an occasional mention of Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M and Brandon Weeded from Oklahoma State University. Nobody wanted to give Russell Wilson from the University of Wisconsin a chance, mostly because of his height (or lack thereof) of 5’11. But, the Seattle Seahawks took a chance on Wilson, taking him with the 75th pick in that draft (a 3rd round pick), and he’s repaid them with two trips to the Super Bowl, and four Pro Bowl selections.
