Late in Super Bowl XLIV, the New Orleans Saints had gone up by a 24-17 score over the Colts, and Manning got the ball back. A Manning-led comeback almost seemed inevitable. But after driving the Colts to the Saints 29-yard-line, Manning dropped back to pass, and uncharacteristically stared down Reggie Wayne on his left side. Saints cornerback Tracy Porter jumped the route after watching Manning look at Wayne the whole time, and picked off Manning’s pass, taking it 74 yards in the other direction. The Saints ended up winning the game by the 31-17 margin, which Porter helped extend with that pick-six.
