8. Santonio Holmes game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl XLII
With just under three minutes left in the game, the Arizona Cardinals took their first lead of Super Bowl XLIII, when quarterback Kurt Warner hit wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald on a routine slant pattern, and Fitzgerald running past the entire secondary of the Pittsburgh Steelers, en route to a 64 yard touchdown. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers got the ball back, trailing 23-20, with less than two-and-a-half minutes left. On what would prove to be the game-winning drive, Roethlisberger and wide receiver Santonio Holmes connected three times. The first time was a third down conversion. The second time was a catch and throw that got the ball to the Cardinals six-yard-line. And the third time was easily the most spectacular, with Roethlisberger delivering an almost impossible pass into the back corner of the endzone, and Holmes catching the ball and still getting both toes down in bounds. The Steelers ended up winning the game 27-23, giving them their NFL-record sixth touchdown win.
