Many people forget that JP Losman was taken in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft, behind three guys who will end up in the Hall of Fame: Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger. Losman’s career got off to a rocky start after missing most of his rookie season because of a broken leg.

Over the next three years, the Bills brought in three quarterbacks — Kelly Holcomb, Craig Nall, and Trent Edwards — to try to and win the job from Losman, who wasn’t very popular among his teammates for his bad attitude. Some people in and around the team gave him the derisive nickname of “JP Loser-man.”
