The fact that Rex Grossman led the Bears to a Super Bowl appearance, goes to show just how dominate their defense was in the 2006 season. If anything, he was more of a liability than an asset to the team. In the Bears’ 2006 season, Grossman completed just 54% of his passes, tossed 20 interceptions and lost 5 fumbles.

The Bears had such little faith in Grossman, they benched him just three games into the 2007 season. Grossman had a few solid performances throughout his career, but when he was bad, he was downright awful. Over his 10-year career, Grossman threw 56 touchdowns and 60 interceptions.
