Jake Locker was the textbook definition of an athlete playing quarterback. There was nothing he couldn’t do from an athletic perspective, but despite being a mostly erratic passer at the University of Washington, everyone kept projecting what he could be as a pro quarterback. The Tennessee Titans drafted Locker with the 8th overall pick in the draft.

But even after essentially “redshirting” his rookie season in the NFL, Locker took a beating over the course of his short NFL career. He retired in 2015, less than four years after being drafted, saying he no longer wanted to play football
