With the 1st-overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft, the St. Louis Rams selected “can’t miss” quarterback prospect, Sam Bradford. Bradford absolutely dominated his two full seasons at Oklahoma, tossing 86 touchdowns and just 16 interceptions. Words cannot describe how incredible that is. But Bradford’s junior year, in which he missed a majority of the season, was a more accurate preview of what his NFL career would become.

During his 8-year NFL career, Bradford has started in just 80 of a possible 128 games (63%), due to multiple injuries. As the age old saying goes — “The best ability is availability” — and Bradford’s track record isn’t pretty. Injuries aside, Bradford has still managed to pull in $114 million since entering the NFL.
