Can we finally close the book on Jonathan Stewart? Forget the fact that it’s been over five years since Stewart has played in all 16 games in a season, and over six years since the last time he’s had 1,000 yards rushing in a season. In his 10th season in the NFL, Stewart is on pace to finish with a career-low 3.3 yards per carry, and he has only one rushing touchdown in 10 games this year. And this has nothing to do with the team drafting running back Christian McCaffrey, either; Stewart has more than twice as many carries as McCaffrey does this season, and yet has half as many rushing touchdowns.
