Fletcher Cox of the Philadelphia Eagles doesn’t get the recognition he deserves from fans for his consistently excellent play. However, his employer did recognize it, and awarded Cox with a six-year extension worth $102.6 million. So don’t feel too bad for the guy. In the first year of his deal, Cox is earning $27.29 million. Plus, the Eagles are also seeing the return on their investment, as Cox has continued to play like one of the better defensive linemen in the NFL this season.
